The Financial Aid Process

1.     Get all the paperwork you will need organized before trying to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  This link will help you figure out what you need:  Before beginning at FAFSA

      *   FAFSA submission deadline: June 30, 2009

      *   Frequently asked questions

      *   List LOTS of colleges on your FAFSA.  Send it to all the colleges you are considering, even to colleges where you aren’t sure you will be accepted.  You want all the bases covered…don’t limit yourself!
